Fall Break was October 15th through the 19th. It was a nice break from school, even for those who didn’t go on vacation. The students of American Fork High School did many exciting things for the break.
For Fall Break, Kimberlee Pierce, Mckenna Hendershot, and Quinci Livingston flew to Boston to visit their best friend Maddy Winder who moved there in the summer. They arrived at the Boston airport late Wednesday night. They drove to New York City for a day and went to Wicked on Broadway, Times Square, Central Park, and the 9/11 Memorial Museum. They spent the next day touring the historical sites and landmarks of Boston. They loved seeing the beautiful Autumn colors of New England and taking pictures.
Jacob Togisala went to Disneyworld for his first time over Fall Break. He went with his family for four days. His favorite part was being in a new state, riding the rides and meeting the Disney characters. His favorite characters to meet are Mulan, Sulley, Princess Tiana, Pocahontas, and Mickey.
Michaela Dunne took a ten hour car ride to New Mexico over the break. She went with her family to visit her grandparents that she hadn’t seen for a while. While in New Mexico, they went on a hike, saw some Indian petroglyphs, and spent good quality time as a family. Her favorite thing about the break was being able to get out of the house for a week
