Back to school, Clubs!

Hello everyone! Welcome back to school, and I hope you are having an awesome day and week! Now that schools has begun, you are probably thinking, “Gosh, this sucks.”, which is partly true. If you are thinking this, or if you’re a sophomore and don’t know anything (Sorry!), I have some good news for you. This year we have a ton of awesome clubs to choose from and join! Do you like History? There is a club for that! Interested in reading? Join the book club! There’s a club for everyone! And even if you can’t find anything, you have the opportunity to create your own club. Just fill out a small paper, find a place and time to meet at school, a teacher who is willing to be your club advisor and just submit it! Important clubs are as follows;

Be The Change, DECA, FBLA, FCCLA, FFA, GSA, HOSA (Future Health Professionals),Latinos in Action, National Honor Society, Skills USA, TSA, Band, Drill Team (Cavettes), Choir, Color & Winter Guard, Dance Company, Forkaster (Newspaper), KAVE TV, Orchestra, PTSA, Sterling Scholars, Student Council, Yearbook and Youth Court.

Keara Blair of Color Guard said this of her club, “You spin three pieces of equipment, it’s a mixture of dance, occasionally cheer, and spinning your equipment while dancing, while doing cool moves. Winter guard does one show that we work on all season. In the fall we work on visual with the Marching Band.” For all the other clubs there are this year, a list is featured on the school website under Clubs an Organizations

Alrighty Cavemen! There is all you need to make this year an awesome one. Join a club, and have fun!
